The Conflict Studies Research Center at the Arab American University organized a field visit to the headquarters of the Palestinian Broadcasting Corporation for AAUP - International Summer School 2023 Students.
Accompanied by representatives from the Palestinian Broadcasting Corporation, the students toured various departments of the corporation and learned about the process of producing television and radio programs, as well as the modern editing and directing techniques used by the corporation to convey news and media content to the public.
Mr. Mohammed Al-Barghouthi, the Director-General of News, delivered a speech about the role and importance of media in shaping public awareness and conveying national and social issues. Ideas and opinions were exchanged between the students and the representatives of the corporation regarding the challenges and opportunities of the media profession in Palestine.
