A group of students from the International Summer School 2023- AAUP participated in the 'Ratq' symposium organized by the Riwaq Foundation, which lasted for two days.
The symposium also included a field tour to the areas of Kfar Akab, Beit Hanina, Al-Jib, and Qalandia. The purpose of this tour was to enhance the understanding of the Palestinian architectural heritage by shedding light on a diverse range of narratives, political, cultural, and social histories that have been marginalized, and focusing on important aspects of Palestine's history and cultures that haven't been widely circulated in the public sphere.
